Autobiography
1. Gas Station
fullness halved in the cigarette block
of wage craft
once, my orbital lots manufactured
malfeasance:
all my life I have been the price of gas
all my life the price of gas exercised my right to harm: petrol in the unwashed
veins of my not-yet-body, I sell condoms to the unmoored prophet in the wish-
vein of pleasure: prophylactics please: wrap-gloss and cellophane, wish-coin, reg-
ister: please: mock-pulp of trees, foil: ethanol pleasures
now in the disturbed atmosphere of my
warp speed where
I light gas to my lungs and my liver
sleeps in halved
inside my lover’s body I have entered properly, eternally, this once
my love I have never entered properly, let me this once take back what I’ve driven
into you: my pulp hums in the after-ring of a donated phrase: dein leben war nicht
liebereich: another man’s appendage distal to the halved organ of musical surgery:
the voice interred into a disease of the lover’s kind: a donor, and the filtered spit of
a semiotic: recipient waste: tannhäuser at the opera: we have seen lovers like this
siphoning petrol from the lexicon
automaton
we have seen lovers like this: a drive-off
poverty:
car by car : to make-up-for : automatic : to revenge : to recover : loss
