Here

Here is where things we do not know exist
exist. A pneumatic mule, for instance, that
counts the steps of men. A shawl woven from
universe’s nerves. The riding crop of God. His
gun. His boots. A span which makes things we
sense but deem invisible visible. The urge to
procreate, the lure of luster, the compassion-
spite pendulum. Where is the root. How is it
defined (does its definition require definition).
What to do with what it does. How do deeds
done and not done square. And what are the
odds all thoughts ever thought and understood
have been understood incorrectly. Who is
asking these questions and does anyone care.
Good morning.
